Nice work! These are so awesome and so much fun. You can go to Geraldton, a lot of dunes there, but a bit of a trek.

Kalbarry is alright.

Head up a bit from Lancelin dunes (i think) and go to that place where all the cray fisherman are. Bloody, cant remember the name....of.....it....aarrgghhh! Something island. Went there last year was good. Its near a military live firing zone :P.

Also a good place, if you live south of the river is just off armadale road. Its a sand mine. Turn right onto armadale road off warton road and theres a small turn off on the right hand side a little bit down.

Nice buy!

I've been toying with the idea of buying a blue YZF, but they say these need quite a bit of maintenance. U apparently need to check the valve clearances on these regurlarly. Not to mention they have to be flogged being a race bike! Which wouldn't be an issue Anyone familiar with the valve clearance maintenance? Is this easy to do?

My bros Banshee goes like a shower of shite and doesn't need hardly any maintenance compared to what they say with the YZF so I am also considering buying one of these instead...

Cheers

nice bike...!

i was there on sunday too riding a black 04 banshee, think i seen you there...

jay, 2 stroke maintenance is blown way outta proportion imho...apart from cleanin & oiling filter, chain etc (which youd do on a 4 stroke also) they arent that bad...(over 2.5yrs on original pistons & rings & uncountable hours on current banshee is proof)

ive had 2 strokes all my life (kx80, yz80, kx100, kx125, 2 x cr250's a yz 250 and another banshee) and running desent oil and havin common sense with them is key to extended life & alot less maintenance...

yeah ring changes & new piston & rings the time after (hours dependant) is the preferred option with 2 strokes, but not always essential imo...(regular eng maint still required with 4 strokes also)
