Are You a Transperth Commuter?
Well, as some of you know, I live in Joondalup. And thanks to the rail works for the new Mandurah Rail line, I had to be at the station this morning at 6:50, and on the train at 7:00 from Joondalup. We stopped for 10mins at Warwick because of congestion, 10mins at Stirling because of congestion, then got off at Glendalough along with 3000+ other people to file onto the busses that were to take us the rest of the journey into the city. Sounds simple, but in the pooring rain, it was chaos. I am drenched from head to toe. AWESOME!
But, thankfully, i made it to work on time... 8:30 and I was walking into the foyer of my Adelaide Tce Building sopping wet. Going to be a fun trip home I think tomorrow I might drive. The parking at Langley Park isn't that full still, and at only $5.00 a day if you have a passenger, I think its the best way!! Just have to swing past work and pick up an employee to whore with me while I park Anyone else have the pleasure of travelling up the Joondalup Line this morning, or come from Freo end? |
