i suspect a v6 push rod engine with a gt42 sized turbo in on the horizon to up the competition with fords fpv/xr6t

That increases speculation that a Holden Torana could be built in America and exported to Australia.

i thought holden was australian?

I think the Isuzu Mu had a 3.6l V6 with 1 cam bank and now the VE does too. Of course they have commodore sales to make too so having what is essentially a commodore motor in the torana doesn't make much sense. That would certainly make a good start point though. Maybe an even 3 litre turbo. Hang on I'm having flasbacks to the release of the VL...................
