Megadeth
Hi All
Just got back from the Megadeth Gig it was awesome. Been waiting 10 years to meet them. They've been around since the Metallica days, old school. Anybody else went?

Static-X were awesome, I think they only played two songs from the new album which was a shame, plenty of old stuff though which was good. DevilDriver were fun too, had the entire floor at Metro's in a big circle pit for their last song.

Yeah it was packed. Tickets sold out (I got in free - good to have connection). Good to see Mustain still doing his thing - he hasnt changed at all as far as style and singing - classic old school. Iron maiden is coming to Perth sometime so I'm looking forward to that one. Also when John Petrucci (from Dream Theatre) came to Perth last year I hanged out with him and even got one of his signature guitars (not a bad guitar at all) - I asked him when he was gonna bring the band over to Perth seen as they've been around for a good 20 years and have never played in Perth - he said he was definately bringing the band down. Ozzy is also coming down under sometime soon but he aint coming down to Perth (if he only knew we in Perth also have weed maybe he'd change his mind)...would be awesome seeing his gig seen as his a classic favourite from back in the Randy Rhoads era - the dude who inspired me to play guitar.
