Default Audio install CX-7

I have bought a CX-7 for the missus and I.

I have decided to do it up a little, starting with the audio, then a respray of some of the panels, colour coding bits and pieces including skirts, putting 20" ANZ rims on it, and lowering it to begin with 1" then once I source some better springs, I will drop it 3"

So far I have used as much as I can out of the Taxi including the Rockford Amp, V1 Radar and Parrot Kit.

I have got the geniuses at Alberts Morley to do all the work onsite at the mazda dealership.

I have opted for an Eclipse AVN6000 with nav, a clarion 10.2 fold down screen, ipod connectivity, steering wheel can bus, reversing camera and some other goodies here and there.

We have had a problem sourcing a fascia to replace the original deck but it should arrive tomorrow.

Here are some pics so far, stay tuned for the 20" Rims and lowering job coming next monday.

It has the same engine as the MPS 6 and 3, just detuned HP wise and up on Torque.

I have barely driven it yet as I haven't taken delivery.

They do go very well but do not go as quick as the others of course.

looks like it will be a decent setup! cant wait to see it lower with the rims.

you will find driving it that they are quite laggy until it hits boost but then goes really well for what it is.

Siq Dan.

How much did the Clarion drop down monitor cost you? Is it just a monitor that hooks up to the front one, or has it go its own DVD player, and you just plug headphones into the back for the kiddies?

PS: have you sold the F6?

The Screen was cheap. It hooks up to the front one plus it has its own dvd player, the headphones are wireless.

The kid is going to love it, actually, if I can somehow make him reach the pedals, I will sit in the back!
