Hertz brand speakers
Went into my local stereo shop who i have been dealing with for a while now and im looking for a good quality set of splits for the front.
Now in the skyline (previous car) He recomended me "Focal" and they were mint! Now he stocks "Hertz" (made in italy) and to be honest they sound mad! Really clear and loud. Anyone heard much about this brand? I trust him at the shop but second opinion is allways good aswell. Are these good quality and last a while? Marc |

From what i know Hertz are very good speakers in terms of both quality and sound. I wouldn't say they're as good as Focals though!
Can't tell you how long they last as my mates just got them Sound good at the moment!!! |

Depends what model Marc, but they can be very good bits of gear. Same as Focal, their entry level is nothing flash.
Old MB-Qaurt FTW!

accuton (theil and partner), raven, phl, focal, seas, scan speak.
they are the top driver makers in the world. im not making any distinction between car and home drivers though. because ohms is not important anymore with class d / t amps. i've never actually heard of hertz and i do consider myself to be 'into' hifi :P Last edited by werticusness; 05-12-2007 at 03:48 PM. |

dunno i think they were around $380 when I bought them 3 years ago - which i swapped out for Alpine SPX-177A's ($700) pieces of shit.

depending what model, they are great speakers. as long as you remember the installation is as important as the driver themselves, they'll keep your ears happy for many years.
