Golf course green is very good but its hard to beat baileys as the GCG is South Australian and the Baileys is WA

We use / sell baileys 4.1.1 as its got a higher nitrogen content so it greens quicker and darker. The brilliance is also very good as is the 3.1.1

Most importantly dont forget ezi wet or something like that. i have three lawns at work and you can tell the once which we've spiked and use wetta soil on

Urea will green it up quickly but dont use too much as its like 46% nitrogen.

NPK is high in potassium so if you have any seeds in your lawn watch out for germination

Is it better to have a combined lawn weed and feed or seperately?

I have a fairly fine grass blade (couch????) which looks great, needs some feed but i have issues with weeds popping up like broad leaf etc.

I also have some kikuyu grass coming under the fence from the neighbour who's back yard is an 'australian NATURAL habitat' any recommendations on killing it without destroying my plants in the garden bed?

c'mon green thumbs what should i do?

I also have two dogs so i dont want to poison them either

Nah dont weed and feed at the same time. That weed and feed stuff is WOFTAM Your just feeding your weeds...

Bindie and clover killer work well and will only be posinous if the dog eats the weed, so you have to remove it properly.

You'll need a systemic spray to kill the roots properly (mirco's in Wangara) or if you just want a quick and easy option glypho360 the leaves (select spray and kills everything so DONT spray randomly-unless its your neighbours garden!!). Will grow back though.

Nah just buy a product called Dog rocks (all the Better Pets and gardens stores sell em, as do city farmers etc). you put them in your dogs water bowl and no more brown spots. i use it and it works brilliant. Only costs like $12-15
