Yesterday, when I was driving down Roe Hwy, I was what on my quick glance, looked like a GC8, but when I looked properly, it didnt look right, took me a second to work it out, it was a Lancer, with a WRX body kit, the scoop, bumper, and everything.
Who-ever it was, had done a pretty good job of making it look like a rex....sorry guys, no photos as I was driving.....

The other strange one Ive seen recently was a Hyundai Getz, converted into a small camper like thing.



Anyone else seen some strange or funny conversions? (yep Im bored, got the day off of work )

i think i might have seen the lancer ur talking about before.....
but....to be honest, IMO i just see them as try hards.......
if u can afford the full bodykit and hood etc etc etc....y not just get a rex??...haha

Thats what I reckon, save the cash and put it towards a nicer car rather spend it on a crapbox

theres a red lancer sedan rolling around with the full Evo 6.5 Tommi bodykit including the wheel arches... no rear diff tho

Maybe because the lancer was a hand-me-down from the parents or something.. and they didn't have the extra 15k lying around so they thought of the 2nd best thing??
