It's also a chargeable offence: Theft by finding. It was found on private property, so technically good old fashioned theft.
Smart move is to hand it to the cops asap then claim it back in 3 months if it's not collected. Leave it on the floor next time. I worked at the Casino so basically I had a win there every day for 10 years  Quote:

I lost a mobile a little while back at a club and when I realised I sent a msg to it from my mates phone and got a reply saying thanks for the phone... so I sent a message back saying please just send my sim card to my address so I can have all my numbers back.
2 days later whole phone in the mail box. Good on em who ever it was. They deserve a beer. Seriously, find the owner and return it to them. You'll feel heaps good bout your self. Dont do it coz of karma, just do it to not be a fucktard. Found $50 on the road back in early high school, was the best ever.
