I recall a while back one of the members here had cheap CF cards..

Anyone know who he was? Or if not, anyone got any leads where to get some cheap CF cards from?

I need some CF by Friday arvo.. preferably one 4 gig card.

Not sure if you mean cheap good cf cards or cheap brand ones, I would only use Sandisk cards you dont want one fucking up on ya. You get different speed cards too.

I disagree I have had a Lexar CF and SanDisk CF both replaced under warranty for failure..

Yet my cheap A-Data ones from good old hong Kong keep on keeping on...

That said TJ I have a cheap 8gig A-Data you can borrow if you so desire

Prolly was bad luck I agree. However I will never use sandisk again.. Cos they were a bunch of wankers to deal with.. Lexar were good and replaced my card no questions asked and even recovered my data.

I back all my photos up within a few hours of taking them and never fill a card.. Since I am not making an income off my photos I do not really care if I lose a few now and then when I have saved a few hundred on CF cards.
