I got GT5:P when I was recently in Japan...
Damn, that London stage with my R35 GTR at 1080p looks absolute sex! AFAIK, you need to have an internet connection to the PS3 and download it via the store.

I have it on BD (in Japanese though).
Personally I'd hang on a bit longer to get the whole thing. There's not that many cars/challenges in Prologue. (then again I haven't finished it and my Japanese is crap )

The story I heard is that prologue is still using the GT4 engine. Obviously the graphics and processing is heaps better though. The full version will be the one with the new engine.
You will not see the full version till 09. Hence why I went and bought an Xbox 360. By the time it does come out PS3 will be cheaper again and I will buy that. I do struggle to see why (when gt4 was released in 2003 ish) that it takes 6 years to develop 1 game. I really think sony have lost bulk sales because of this.

Played the Japanese version of GT5:P- GT is the reason i have a PS3, and Prologue confirms this
GTR is awesome to drive, and the STI and R8 are suprisingly fun too. Glad Suzuka was put in this version. Daytona is a waste of time (except for getting easy money!) AFAIK, and as mentioned, you can't download full version of GT5:P. Also, only PSP data can be downloaded from the Playstation Store via the web: http://au.playstation.com/ps3/networ...ZCFEWLXBC5GIV0 So no-go with DL on comp and uploading to the PS3 However, GT5:P demo was available to those with a Japanese account (but I CBF setting one up) Aussie release of GT5:P is set for March 27th, but as usual, may be pushed back (EB told me 13th orginally). Regardless, my deposit is down

All signs are pointing to a July 08 Japanese release for GT5. We of course will get it later.
GT5:P has much better graphics and feels different to GT4, so I would assume this is just to 'beta' test the engine before the final release. http://www.granturismoworld.com/defa...ngid=9&infid=0 It looks the sexiness, no?
