Default Looking at moving to Perth - need some info

Fellas

I am thinking about buying a house and moving to the Secret Harbour area in the next 2 - 3 months.

I know there is a golf course and beach at Secret Harbour, but do they have a gym? Is there somewhere nearby where you can go riding on the dirt bike either tracks or through the bush?

I will need to build a shed for my gear etc, does anyone know of a good company?
Also looking at purchasing a new outdoor spa unit if anyone has some contacts.

Both myself and my partner both work, so we would be after some all round help as I like to keep the house spotless. Is there a company that carries out domestic cleaning?

Thanks

Might find the Yellow pages helpful! Plenty of bush around for dirt bikes as well.

Used to live there, and my company does the grounds maintenance still. Yes there is a gym. No pool but from all reports (only the missus went) it was pretty good.

Used to be able to ride MX bikes everywhere down there but because it is in reasonable proximity to both kwinana and rockingham (mx bike theft capital of WA) and also housing going up everywhere it is getting harder and harder to ride your bike down there. Coastals MX track (one of the best in WA) is about a 30 min drive.

There are heaps of shed builders in WA. The erectors are charging the earth at the moment because there is more work than they can handle. Down there though I would not be surprised if most houses already have a shed. Almost all will have a double garage.

Getting a good cleaner at the moment is not an easy thing wherever you are. There are usually ads up in the local deli at the beach though so you might get lucky.

I did not like living there because it was 50k each way to work (canning vale) 40k to Fremantle which was the closest resembalance to nightlife. Great place to raise kids though. I thought it was just that little bit too far from town. 10 - 15mins off the end of the freeway and then another 20 -25 to get into town assuming there was no traffic.

The other issue we have with work down there is we get quite a lot of vandalism. The reason is that kids are on school holidays and there is not a lot to do so they get together and do stupid shit, like graffiti and break glass bottles on the tennis court, pull pavers up out of the skate park. Play golf with the sprinklers in the parks. This might have changed somewhat now that the railway line is in.

Hope this helps.

Brendon

Wholly snapping duck shit, at a quick calc of 2.5 hrs per day behind the wheel X 48 weeks you spend roughly 30 full days per year just driving to and from work......wow

Iam currently building down secret habour at momment as far as a gym goes not 100% sure, know there is one 5 mins up the road.

For your dirt bike riding anywhere you get caught down there the ranger will take your bike off your hands, only safe place is coastal mx track just sold my KTM due to this reason.
