Well there are dozens of free Youtube to ... converters out there and I've tried them all. Most are unreliable and slow, but I've figured out the best way seems to be Vixy. Not www.vixy.net as that is pretty flakey at the best of times and about 3/5 youtube videos fail. But they now have a Windows and Mac client that you download and install on your PC and it's much more reliable and a quick one step process, paste in the URL and off it goes. There is another tool out there, where you can queue them up 50+ videos and leave it, but it's only in flv format at the moment, which is fine for PCs but but Ps3s etc
