Have you had a look around at the current employment situation?

If you dont like a job (be it police, teaching, fruit picking, working at woolies), plenty of other jobs around if you can break out of the comfort zone. I can think of hundreds of better things to do everyday instead of work but if your work conditions are that bad, all you have to do is leave.

ALWAYS somewhere that will pay better and treat you the same or better. Its just a matter of going and finding it. Look at me, i hated woolies, i earned less than $500 a week for 5 years (45hrs a week to). Who was the fool for not waking up to the truth earlier!

A good mate of mine has been a copper for 24 years. He often whinges about his job. Of course he puts up with some shit BUT he has a choice. Can leave and do something else (like i said, plenty around and he has the $$ behind him) or he can stay and put up with crap until he retires.

In 2008, provided your not a dropkick junkie you have choices!

thats not my point, My point is the Cops are there keeping peices of shit off the street and if they werent there how would society be? they should be praised for doing good and not being made out to be assholes, they do alot of good that people dont see and its not them that make the bs laws.

This is just a good example of what its like in my area of lockridge. Everytime we or lderly neighbors need assistance really quick due to a massive aboridginal brawl it seems police are caught up busy. Lats few just like the death in my street they took 30+min and 6 x 000 calls but yet as soon as a pursiut starts or hoon doing burnouts in the area they are there asap.
