Cheap and nasty i think!

1st big run and the gears will bust like a banjo diff in a 454 torana lol!

Ferals TLD25 if he still has it would be mint or if he has sold it then try bluewater or tackleshack or BCF etc

Heh, all you need is the boat now When Im in Cairns chasing game fish i fish with Ross Finlayson and Biggles (two of Australia's top game fishing / marlin skippers) on the sistership of this boat KEKOA

Remember game fishing is like racing cars (only more expensive). At the end of the day you get what you pay for. No point spending money on boats / charters / fuel / lures / tag poles / leaders / outriggers etc etc and then skimping on a reel.

You'll kick yourself if you loose a decent fish cause you skimped on an ebay spec reel / line. Im sure Marc and Feral will agree to this.

I reckon stick to a TLD25 from either TackleShack or Got One in Woodvale. I use Got One cause its close. Stay away from BCF though.

The ebay ones look like copies of the real (reel) Penn ones, wouldn't trust it.
Mine is the original of the GT330 shown but in a Penn was $270 but picked it up with a 15 - 24kg rod for $150 and then spent $160 on braid, from Ranger camping of all places after the boat show = discounts....

i have game reels of all sizes 2kg to 37kg and some multiplys of each line classs, caught marlin and sailfish and other game fish, shimano is a entry level game reel, but for that line class i would use a 50w type reel, or 2 speed reels, picking a second hand reel is often good value, but the shimano tld type reel sare light weight and be treated as such, i use to use a tld20 2 speed for sailfish loaded up with 6kg, with john devit here in perth doing the drags.......
