I've done it before, when i was younger and thought it wouldnt happen.
Put a mazda 121 into the bush 50kms down a road between manjimup and rocky gully.
absolute middle of nowhere, no street lights, pure silence. The car was drivable bar a popped tire.
I tell ya, never changed a tire so fast in my life, and i dont think i blinked the rest of the 50k trip back to where i was staying.
Its amazing how fast it can happen, one minute feeling alright, next minute car on a log. Now i know the warning signs, i can do the old run around and a few push-ups to get me by.

And on another note, working odd hours at times, ive got to work and not remembered ever even driving there.

Scary thing is that if your on a country road (given that country trips are longer, your going faster on darker roads, less things to keep you awake / alert), you probably wont wake up

I woke up driving on the gravel on the right hand side of the road. Not sure of the speed but it was fast. I panicked and turned the wheel left, but flying along, the car didnt change direction much. When the front wheels hit the road, they must have been on a bad ass angle because she just whipped around like a cyclone. Im pretty lucky the back went into the log first i guess. I had the whole seat to cushion me.

Nice photo Jamie!
The impact sounded like a 20-gauge shotgun with no skids prior.
the driver was a right crackwhore with a similar voice to the bus driver from South Park.
I swear she hid a little baggie in the back seat amongst her groaning/swearing/staggering/limping/dripping 'Hep C' infected claret.
When we got her to sit down at the bus stop to wait for the Ambo - she asks me "Fk ...look at my Fkn car !!! What the fk happened ??"

And here I was trying to be politically correct about the whole thing haha.

Glad shes alright though, could have been so much worse.
