Default Is the new TuRD Aurion add wrong ?

On the add it says it is the first Australian car with a Eaton Supercharger..

Wasn't that the same supercharger on the VS/VT/VX V6 ? I am sure i read they ran a Eaton supercharger too..

Pete

Yeah, but an Eaton is a rebadged whipple which is actually a lysholm supercharger, so who cares, claims are claims, any discerning consumer looks beyond advertising clown talk!

The Aurion is the first to run that specific type of S/C, so they are right.

Doesnt really look much different does it?

Pretty ambitious car for TRD, shame the gearbox is turd. Soon to be followed by a TRD Hilux... s/c 4l V6 anyone? Should be fun!

I would like to see the VT one with the plastic cover off.. i rekon they are pretty close.

Have you been near the Luxury version of the Aurion with all the bells and whistles like the 200 series Sahara ? no key, walk up, push door button opens. Sit inside, do seat belt up, push on button.

Pity when the battery goes flat ! But if you look at the commander thing, you push a button and a small key comes out, but you still can't turn the car on with it..

From what I can recall reading, the internal workings of the s/c is new and different to the older Commodore type, helping to reduce the thermal issues associated with a non cooled s/c setup.

It needs a 6speed... and RWD/AWD...

But it'd still be a fun drive!
