Take details of car (Vin no etc), proof of purchase/ownership, cams licence (Minimumn Level 2S) and pit inspection sheet to Licencing centre and ask for a B rego. Pay stamp duty, licence fee, get plates, screw them on and hey presto.

Depends on the car. If it was imported solely for track use you need to have the import approval from DOTARS in Canberra. They will want a level 3 cams license. If you are converting an aust complied car that has been registered before it is piss easy....read riggs' post

hehe. if i could afford it I would. Im guessing its in too bad of a condition to keep on the road anyway. its all still just 'assumptions' so till i see the car i won't know whats the deal - but if I have ideas about B-reg it may make the decision easier.

Unless it's a classic car on club rego. Same conditions exactly, but something like $60 a year. Lancia Delta Integrale $60/yr, Legacy RS $560/yr. Sucks.
