just installed the free version of limewire from their website.

Looks good......but, DAMN! it totally kills my computers abilities to do anything else when its running

Even when you hit the X at the top of it, and you think it's not running, go CTRL + ALT + DEL and have a look ath the process running. It out strips the next biggest thing, for me its internet explorer by about 3! ie about 35,000thingys compared to about 9,000 for IE.

Fuckin shonky.

ps, got the song I wanted, spose to be pretty good for poorn too but I might give it a miss.

Limewire is okish at finding stuff, i find more of the music i chase using soul seek..

the reason it hammers the machine is its a java based application, and it just slams the performance..

if you look on the task bar next to the clock you can see the lime wire symbol, right click, and choose exit, sorted

try downloading Ares Gold.....downloads r pretty quick n ive had no problemos

yeah got soulseek, big fan, just sometimes cant find what I want...sorted that exit strategy too down near the clock, bit ghey though..

Open Limewire, search for "Limewire Pro", download it....much faster, much better than standard Limewire

how can they fine u if u have wireless internet access and just use someone elses connection??? there's no way they could track you.....is there????

limewire was blue screen of deathing my comp so i ditched it
i use emule at the moment it's pretty good

and yeah they can track you even using someone elses wireless
unless you can hide certain things
