This is what I don't understand.

Nova 93.7 put the complaint in about Groove that got them kicked off the air. Basically, they complained that Groove was not playing enough "community" or local content, even though it claimed to be a community radio station.

Their argument was that they paid millions for their license, and Groove paid nothing, even though their music broadcasts crossed over, or were very similar.

Well, I've not heard any decent R&B or Hip Hop on the radio since Groove shut down. So, where is this "similar" music that Nova 93.7 is supposed to be playing?? All I hear is ad's, abrasive announcers and sh*t music that every other station plays a million times a day.

Agreed, although the other stations eventually got the music that Groove played months later, when the songs started hitting the clubs, and the songs were then more popular. Low by Flo-Rida for example, how much is that slaughtered by radio these days? Groove had it playing months and months ago.

Anyways I don't listen to the radio very often, ads annoy me too much... i-Pod in the car all the time

Triple J all the way for me, commercial radio sucks... Used to listen to Groove a little bit, but about 30% of the music I didn't like which gave me the shits in the end.

The only thing that shat me with Groove was the dickhead presenters
