Thought I would start a thread as there is probably heaps of things to do that you wouldn't find out about if you don't live in a certain area.

Perth can be fukn boring at times.

Let us know what you get up to around your area, whether it be the Zoo to going to the local pub. Anything you do that you find fun or enjoy.

Karaoke!

Karaoke Rocks! There are a couple places in Perth for awesome Karaoke, either in Utopia in Myaree or North Bridge, Crown Karaoke in North Bridge or Seoul Karaoke in North Bridge. All good, and all with private rooms. Seoul has a place for free group karaoke as well!

Well, as you said, Perth can be dullsville at times, but if you're looking for something to do, it isn't too hard to find something.

I'm not gonna come out and say that im mr social, as i hardly ever go anywhere out and about.

GBT - Grand Boulevard Tavern
Friday Nights 9:00pm onwards.

Ok place to go, usually is packed out by 11:00 and open till 2:00am. Usually has decent (current) music, RNB and chart stuff, and of course, a large amount of young slappa's for perving on.

Altho, recently, we have renamed the GBT to stand for Get Bashed Tonight, as there has been a large infestation of "cashed up bogans" attending, and tempers tend to get a little frayed.. "my mine is better than yours.. etc etc.." I used to go regularly, but have stopped in the last 2 years, but still attend on the odd occasion, if someone is having birthday drinks or whatever. And when your a 5min walk from the place, it makes it a good night out, without paying $80 for a taxi home.

Friday Nights. Dinner in the restaurant, then head over to the pub side afterwards.

Slim Jim plays on a Friday night IIRC so, heaps of older rock kinda songs, makes for awesome atmosphere... but, be prepared to enter "pom central" they are everywhere!
Nice place to go for a night out, just bring your aussie flag!

PS: food is good in the restaurant too!

Tues nights: Cheap indoor paintball (Xtreme Leisure)

Fri: Limelite/Vegasmode - Mostly interstate dj's. Good nights out if you love your house music.

Sundays: Breakfast @ 'Harvest' or Leftbank in Fremantle - Both do a good feed.

THE BEST buffet food in Perth!

New style bar opened at the Bayswater Hotel set to compete with things like the Saint etc. It's only opened recently, has pool tables, plasma's and beer so I'm happy. Starting to get busier on Friday nights!
