Alays been facinated by this event In Berlin over the years...This year its in Dortmund, Germany on July. With my love for Dance, House, Electro and Trance...its definately something i want to experience.

I come from Newcastle in England, they planned to have one there then cancelled it the last minute I was devastated ha ha, it would be unreal. I would love to the one in Germany as well!

summer of 2000, went with about 12 mates, we still talk about it and they tell me I had a good time!

Epic street party and sooo much to see! From memory Paul Van Dyke was the headliner.

I would recommend you get to Berlin 3 days to a week before the actual Parade itself. There are parties everywhere in the week leading up to the parade.

I remember sitting in the Aircraft about to land in West Berlin's Templehoff airport, the guy sitting next to me rolls a fat joint before landing to smoke while waiting for baggage. The arrivals area in the Airport had a female DJ playing 3 decks of Techno. Welcome to Berlin and the Love Parade!!!!
Gotta love the Germans.

Tresor runs virtually 24hrs a day and only closes down for early morning cleaning. You get the best Techno DJ's in the world cycling through there that week.

Paul Van Dyk does "Love from Above" each year the night before the Parade. Its the official opening party.

Looks like the Love Parade is no longer in Berlin, the local Govn't no long wants it in the city.
