Default Road Rage!!! (Continued)

You do not HAVE to indicate when leaving a roundabout...

http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/lic_drivesafe3.pdf

Page 66

"Indicate/signal left, if practicable..."

i remember this coz i was teaching the missus how to drive late last year.

and on Page 72 YOU must give way to all traffic already on the roundabout.

so alot of ya dunno the rule eh.

but yeah indicating helps and i get shitted off by people who dont, and also people who dont give way at the vic park peanut style roundabout!!!

roundabouts r death traps

if your going straight you dont need to indicate but if your turning you do, but if your turning when you turn off you should indicate, thats what I think

im pretty sure you have to indicate when you exit from the roundabout, whether you are going left, right or straight. you also have to indicate when approaching the roundabout if youre gonna turn left or right.

turning right from the left lane of a dual lane roundabout shits me to tears, and should be an offence punishable by death imo

Main Entry: prac·ti·ca·ble
1 : capable of being put into practice or of being done or accomplished

Try to explain to the officer/court of law that you were not capable of moving your finger 2 inches in order to apply a left signal as you exit the roundabout.

It's the most common sense thing to do - especially when considering larger round-a-bouts and oncoming traffic that may not have seen you enter the round-a-bout

I don't indicate when leaving a roundabount .. If i am turning right/left i do.

If i was in a really good mood i might .. So long as there at least *some* form of indication, as far as i knew you don't have to indicate out of a round about, ie - indicator on to to turn right, then snap it on for 2 seconds when leaving.

Was really hammered when learning for bike license that you would fail from accumulated points if you chose not to indicate left when leaving a round a bout on your test.

Draw your own conclusions.
