ye good reception
good interface (tried and tru mac osx10)
optus i believe have the BEST deals with download limits etc...
cool apps made and coming thru all the time!

I used a program call iRinger, makes it really easy.

Select the song you want, clip the section you want as a ringtone.
The program then converts and puts into your itunes ringtones folder, couldnt been any easier

Only gripe so far is speaker phone is really quiet. Otherwise, seems great.

Do a search for pin prick speaker or similar, apparently if you prick the speaker it gets heaps louder...

Anyone know how to go back between applications? What I mean is that if I search in GPS for an address, open their website, is there any way to go back to GPS from Safari, as oppossed to hitting the home button and going back into GPS?

Be careful on that mod, it was used on the the first generation iPhone (and it worked well) but not sure if the 3g iphone is built the same. Don't want people piercing the speaker

Unfortunately you can't Bakks. iPhone was designed so only one application runs at a time.
