Default fuel prices

I just filled my car at Caltex (woolies) to find that there is now 8 cent gap between vortex & unleaded,so does that mean there is 12 cents between unleaded & 98

OK not sure exactly what you mean......

If you used a 4c/litre discount voucher then yes there is a 12c difference.

Also Vortex = 98RON

Dont caltex have 2 fuels called vortex? ones is 96 and the other is called Vortex98?

What i would like to know is why when something just thinks about the price of oil going up the fuel price jumps up, but when the oil price comes down, it takes a week to follow through to the pump.

And kudos for the government bring in tax cuts on fuel... but why in 2010?
