Had something interesting happen today...

TWO attempted robberies in my shop by the SAME guy.

Both FAILED!

Guy comes into my shop around 3pm today. Short, Fat, Black Top, Goatie and short receding hair line. Gives me a $1 Coin and asks for change for the phone. So I take the coin and open the till to get him two 50c coins. He immediately pulls out a beer bottle and holds it up in a ready to strike position

Says: "Gimme some money. I need it now"

I tell him I'm not giving him any money. And he backs off all meek like.


Later at 4.50pm...

He comes back in. This time with a sizable limestone rock in his hand. About the size of a house brick. Holds it up ready to strike like before.

Says: "Gimme the Money"

I tell him to fuck off and get out of my shop. He repeats: Gimme the Money NOW!"
I pull out my pepper spray and point it at him. He takes a step back and demands money again, but this time quite meekly. I dont think he realises what I have pointed at him.
Give the pepper spray a shot. (This thing has a fair bit of range). Hit him square in the face and eyes at 3m away.
He runs away.

Before anyone says.... No Im not going to call the police. First of all, this was just a minor incident, and secondly, they are useless. They'll take my pepper spray as evidence and then sit on the case. Pointless.

What a day.... Still three more hours left today. I wonder if he'll come back with a knife or something?

I'll be waiting and ready....
