Default Plasma tv experts

This question is to anyone with a sound technical knowledge of plasma tv's.

Is there any component inside a 42" panasonic that contains liquid?

I discovered a puddle under the tv, after extensive searching around there seems to be no other explanation for this liquid which looks pretty much like water. I'm still scratching my head because i dont believe there is anything inside that would contain or utilise any liquid, but the wife in convinced its from the tv.

No. generally speaking only the old rear projectors had a liquid inside the 3 tubes, it was a coolant that on Samsungs where a common occurrence to leak and eat the mainboard. Can't tell you how many of those motherfuckers i had to lift while working for my dad.

Pretty sure you'll find theres no liquid inside something like that, unless they run a water cooler for the main IC's but that'd be pretty hardcore and i'd doubt it.

Theres SFA inside a plasma tv, least of all liquids.
Id say the mystery of the liquid is still unsolved.

I checked the ceiling for moisture, even went up in the roof to check for any possible moisture and/or leaks, and we do have cats, but it didn't smell like cat piss, maybe i should've tasted it lol, well i have to say i'm so mystified by this, maybe i do have ghosts!!!

Yes, the tv still works, that was one of my main arguments with the wife, that if there was anything inside that had lost that liquid then i doubt it would still function ok.
