ANyone got a torrent or copy of a cd or dvd for testing sound systems

Just picked up a Cambridge Audio 640R Home theatre amp
and some B&W 603 Floor standing speakers

and want to get hold of some high quality sample cd or dvds with music

Or even a good audio disc that is designed for high quality stereos

torrent or i can come get a copy please

Just some warning for you, not sure if whoever sold you the speakers told you (providing they are brand new): You will have to play those speakers at a decent volume for about 20 hours before their true 'character' will shine through. It takes this long to work the speakers in.

If they are second hand disregard.

Has the visual and audio sides covered. I haven't used it before so can't vouch for it, it's just something I searched up quickly

Hey mate yeah speakers have been worked in, they sound so sweet,
just trying to find a really good quality cd to listen to them with.

Yeah mate install went well. have the carpet sitting here to put on back board but still hvant done it always got to many tools and crap in boot to even see it atm.

I have a genuine original copy of the Alpine f#1 Status disc ( perks of having a mate who is well known in the Queensland car audio scene with his old car), he sent it to me when he sent me my new setup in my boonger wagon.

It is recorded in HDCD ( High Definition Compatible Digital), that has an absolute clear images on it. includes resonance checks, phase checks, white noise, think it could have a few sweeps etc too. I could possibly burn this at 1-2 speed if your keen, and send it up.

Just whack on some Verdi or Dream Theatre (CD not mp4), colours in the sound will shine fairly quickly

Uh someone else who uses Dire Straits.

When i use to demo my old car at shows i'd use Sultans of Swing.. the drum note, the smooth bass. Perfect.

I have a DVD that I use for my tuning that you can have a listen to and burn you a copy its not all good quality but most of it is.

Also I have beegees one night only concert that ROCKS on the bose Lifestyle 48 system in our home theatre room more than welcome to borrow that!

Alternatively I can get hold of the new Alpine Demo disc of our rep ?
