i highly doubt they will make existing p platers with a performance car sell up. if so down comes the p plates.

It's been in for years over east & I don't think it's such a bad idea, the one thing I would add to it is all vehicles driven by P platers must have standard factory size exhaust, no point putting a set of 45mm Webbers on your 30 yo 2L Escort or whatever if it can't breathe, may also stop the idiots screaming around in their brap brap machines waking the neighborhood in the middle of the night.
