Default Back flips

It appears that State Labor is just as good at Back flips as Federal Labor.

read page 21 of todays west. opinion piece by paul murray.

if what he says is true, its proof beyond any doubt and nay saying that its a political point scoring ploy.

summary:
-suggestion is made to ban 'hi-po' cars,
-carps govt shoots down the idea citing studies which proves no correlation between accidents and 'hi-po' cars.
-year later carps has the same idea, runs with it.

we all knew that there was no correlation, there is studies that prove it. yet the idea still gets political coverage.

if labor get re-elected it will prove that the state of wa is as a populous dim-witted and thick beyond compare.

i am so glad someone opened up an election thread!

I've been liberal all my life and for the first time i dunno who to vote for.

Whats got me torn at the moment....well as far as the big issues both seen to me pretty much the same and both like to flip flop and say one thing do another. The issues that have me in thinking labor are these...

State Liberal guy came out and said first thing he would do is scrap daylight savings! I love daylight savings and the arguements so far from the public as to why we shouldnt have it are so laughable it amazes me the stupidity of west australians.

Also our local liberal candidate has stepped up and announced he would reverse the go ahead decision here in Bunbury to allow Sunday trading. I also thing Sunday trading is great and want this one to go ahead.

Im not one to read newspapers cover to cover and although I'm not as informed as some i'm not uninformed either so if anyones keen for it throw out some opinions I'm after a bit of friendly debate.

My friend, who loves daylight savings (and has trying to influence all his friends to vote for it since D'Orazia first brought it in) has just installed a pool.

I'm voting against DLS because Perth does not need to see him in his speedos for any longer than it has to..

Both parties are going to act like 12 year olds and just release TV and Radio ads calling each other names. Thats pretty much it.
