Just got a vehicle inspection and a little bit of trust that all is OK. Owner has been really helpful. Transport $1045 Vic to Perth (depot - depot)

Didn't buy from the other guy in the end as the car had 4000 more kms on the clock (he said he guessed) and was an 07 not an 08. Sounded a little bit dodgy and you need to be 100% sure buying a car unseen.

I took my Bug over the Welshpool pits 2 weeks ago without booking, guys were great, got there at 7.15 am & was passed by 7.45, even let me go with him.
I actually had to wait for the office to open to pay everything & make sure you pay for the inspection over the phone before you get there, lasts indefinitely so you could do it today.

Just out of general curiousity... what sort of vehicle inspection did you arrange, being interstate and all?

I am just getting the standard vehicle check a seller has to do when they sell their car in Vic. The car still has a few years to go before warranty runs out, so should be OK.

Oh and I just got some abusive texts from that guy saying I wasn't a genuine buyer and I was just a time waster etc. I texted him back saying I ending up buying a different car and apologising if he thought I was a time waster. He replied with more abuse. Oh well.

Ask him why his missus sends you sexy messages and he doesn't.
