I've driven my dads STI that was quick up to the speed limit ahahah

I think I'm modding it more for fun because it's the only real thing which I own.

Hang on guys, we've had a shyt load of threads talking about how P platers shouldnt be in high powered cars coz they have no experience and cant handle the power.... surely you can appreciate the refreshing attitude of this P plater.

Its great that your happy with the power you have and I'm sure, as you gain more driving experience, you will learn for yourself the reasons people want to mod thier cars and get more power. For now stick with what you have.

Fair crack of the whip guys, after all the opinion on P platers and thier lack of skill and intelligence if this guy is serious and he gets flamed for it thats pretty fukn sad.

<insert epic fail picture for Gumby>

ppl do what they want to their cars, if you don't wanna mod it, no one is holding a gun to your head telling you to. Just coz you own a subaru, doesn't mean it has to run an 11 and handle like its on rails around a track. Each to their own...

For some people, the thrill of "power and speed" never comes to an end, and they are forever modding their car.. and good luck to them.

not saying people shouldn't was just wondering why. I was more thinking about P platers and fast cars not so much others

Agree with Foxy on this. It is good to see someone that has just got a license saying that their car is fast enough. Modding your car doesnt have to mean it goes blisteringly fast either. As time goes on you will start to push the limits a bit and thats when you want to start looking into better brakes and handling.

I converted my car myself as when I bought it I couldnt afford what a WRX was going for at the time. I wanted it to go fast but I couldnt justify spending even a fraction of what alot of guys on here have spent. To them guys I take my hat off.

Power is not really that usefull around the city, but open country roads, going up north eg, where you will overtake 30 road trains over 6 hours is where you want power Or track days.
