I think neons look awesome. I've taken the one from my kitchen and am using it as an interior light. Not only do I get street cred, but it's great for map reading at night. Also if you turn up to a Star Wars fancy dress party and have foolishly forgotten to dress up - hey presto - pull out the neon light and you're Luke Skywalker with his light sabre. brrr brr brrr
