Hello.

I'm looking for a contact in Telstra.
I need an accounts manager or similar, to look after our business.

Believe it or not our current manager doen't give a rats and we can't get any satisfaction from Head Office.

Help.

Doesnt solve your problem but ive worked for Telstra before and will never ever go near them, change as soon as you can!

Escalated as far as possible and now probably just a pain in the arse whinging client.

I have given up any possibility of a Telstra employed account manager to give a toss no matter what scale of business you have. I'm in an area where we rely on cellular accounts and still no love. We have actually found a commercial rep through a telstra shop (NOT employed by Telstra) and he seems to be better....

Unfortunately, as much as I want to, I cannot take my business elsewhere. NextG pretty much owns the rural and resource market.

In my experience the best way to get a result out of telstra is to call them again. and again. and again. It work for a lot of companys, especially when you start speaking to lots of people. I'm currently calling my rentals strata company twice a day to get their asses into gear. Eventually they'll get sick of me and just do it to stop me ringing.

We are getting iPhones for $600 each from Telstra I guess it all comes down to how big your account is.

Jester, i've rung right up to state manager - sales level, and all i get is empty promises.

Rich, getting stuff isn't the problem, i've got money to spend and i just wan't to know the best way to spend it.
