Tried searching the net but found nada. Are there any special license requirements when getting a 125cc bike? Can you use a normal car license??

you need a re or r licence, look on the dpi site for more info. You can only go upto 50cc on a normal licence.

R-E for up to 250cc

R for 250cc and above but u must have held ur R-E's for a year before u can sit the test for R's

Do not skimp on riding gear. Serious gravel rash ( and resulting skin grafts ) does not help pull the chicks.
