I am an ardent liberal supporter but I have met her a few times and she is a very switched on woman. I would not be suprised if she ended up as a labour premier in the future. She is a lawyer by trade. Whenever she gets a chartered flight those around her call it "hair force one".

I think she's been fantastic for WA and is exactly the person to drag this NIMBY backwater kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

I also admire the irony of people on here slating her for this when i'm sure its fair to say that not many of us would be complete ages when it comes to traffic offences...

I too have met this women on several occasions over the last 20 years. She is Not inspiring at all and not connected or well liked in her own party I can tell you. Fat chance you will see her as leader of the labour party much less the state. She doesn't practice law because she was not very good at thus the reason she is a politician now. God help us if she were in charge of the state.

I didn't say she was an inspriation or that I would ever vote for her. She cant even stand up straight. I have also heard all sorts of stories about her down at the mairitme workers pub in freo. Dont know how true they are but if I was a betting man I would put money on them. You have to admit though that she was not afraid to take on a fight. Might have taken longer than it should of and cost more than it should of but she did not back down.

Anyways it is all by the by now as hopefully Barnett will be there for a while yet.
