Serious family wealth can get you any car you would like...and there is lots of serious family wealth floating around Perth-just not as much as there used to be 6 months ago. And alot of those cars are financed too- tax effective!...lots will be handed back in the coming months as the real shit kicks in for for the dudes who leveridged big time and income has dried up.

It's pretty hard not to have money over the last 5 years if you were holding any property or shares.

I reckon that comment about living in your parents granny flat and driving a 08 rex is the life we all would love to lead if the funniest thing I have read for a while....you gotta learn to aim a bit higher in life!

Depends how stupid you are really.

Some people can afford many exotic cars, because they're f*cking loaded. Some people can afford exotic cars because they sell assets to fund them.

For example, if my family wanted to offload one of their properties, we could buy a Ferrari, Lambo, whatever we wanted. Do we want to do this? No chance, because a Ferrari doesn't appreciate in value like a commercial or retail property does.

I've heard stories of people selling houses during the real estate boom to buy exotic cars, etc, so its not hard and definitely not unheard of...and not out of the reach of a lot of people, BUT, whether its the right thing to do or not is totally subjective.

its an individual choice. If you have the money and you want one then sure why not but as said above most of them are financed by fucken dreamers and wannabes who are today trying to desperately sell them at a fuck load cheaper.
