Right guys heres the problem.
I need to get one of these for my son for xmas but, im currently in the uk , but im coming to perth in a couple of weeks on holiday. there is limited or no availability of the psp in the uk.
Are they readily available in perth & if so are they regional. (would hate to get it back to the uk & the games not work, like the ps2)
How much do they retail for over there ?
Would i be better off getting one in Dubai on the way over ?

I think it should be fine, i think the UK use the PAL version and we also use the PAL version. But if you were to get games from asia they would be NTSC... DONT QUOTE ME ON THIS!

The games are region free on ALL PSPS's.
The UMD movies are said to be Region encoded... but apparently that is BS.

Since you are coming from the UK... are you stopping off at Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore or KL?

All of these places sell the psp for a much cheaper price....

Since my uncle recently went to the UK im guessing hes going to Dubai then coming here. (he said he will be stopping over in dubai anyways)

thanks for the replies guys, still a bit confused but i will prob have to get one over there as there is none available over here. managed to get 3 games & an accesory pack but no psp.

just hack it, and dl games for free. and store games on the memry card
