They ARE all the rage! But depends where you go if you want to see a good one... we went to two shows. First one was best as they had heaps of hot topless girls dancing all around the stage and then left 3 minga's and 1 other hot girl to do the ping pong. The second one was similar except their were no hot girls, so left pretty quickly... besides, we saw all the 'stunts' in the first one.

You just have to see it once at least!

Judging by the massive full moon out right now there'd be a full moon party happening tomorrow night.

I had a half moon party while i was over there and that has to be the best dance party i have ever been to.

yo..

just got back from the land of thai on sat.. couple days after the protesters left bangkok int' airport.. stayed in phuket for 7 nights then travelled to pattaya for 2 nights and spent 4 nights in bangkok.. not once did i see or hear of any trouble in all 3 destinations.

GO MATE!! dnt miss out on the time of ya life.

the shits got nothing to do with tourists and like others have said above if ya stick with the usual tourist places (i.e. phuket.. where your going) u'l still get treated like royalty..

as for the shit poppin off again it'll only be in bangkok.. only thing is even if u are just going to phuket, u still prob have to fly out from bangkok but again like i said tourists got nout to woz about.. unless they flood the airport again (wont happen!!).

as for the threat of terroist attacks.. well.. theres always a threat of terroist attacks anywhere in the world, dnt let the shit scare ya off.. it is what it is.

enjoy!

Hey guys

Going to Phi phi island in a couple of days and really dont wanna get sea sick as it will ruin my day (going by last experiences...cant walk...)
Just wondering if anybody knows whats the best tablets to take to prevent sea sickness. And has anybody done this trip before? how rough can it be.

Cheers

I get sea sick (though not car / train / plane or anything elese sick!) and have found the best tablets to be an all natural one with ginger in it.

I have found in the past that man made chemical ones work reasonably well but I didnt feel like I had a cast iron stomach.

The chemist or health food shops should have ginger tablets for motion sickness.

If you still feel a bit rough when you get off the boat then ginger tea or green tea works wonders.

I have also found that some of it is a mental block...if you get wound up before you get on with "oh my god what if its rough and I get sick" then you probably will feel ill and if your on the boat thinking "am I feeling a bit queesy" then you WILL start ot feel ill!

Tablets are the only thing that actually will work, all the other shite like magnetic bracelets and pressure point bracelets and all sorts of other voodoo hippy crap wont do a thing for you.

Oh and eating well helps, a big fat greasy fry up and 12 pints of coffee for breakfast wont help at all!
