If you were in Perth, you could consider cab driving.

Its a few days worth of course, and youll have to find a cab owner or apply to a company to use their vehicles.

Costs something like $170 - $200 to hire the cab for a couple of weekend nights + fuel, you keep the rest.

I was thinking about cab driving recently. Do you know how much of a fare goes to say Swan taxis or instead of a % of fares is it a membership fee or something?

Its a job for shit sake. Every time somebody has suggested something its no good or the pay is no good or every other reason. If a person(not having a go at scoobygez) wants a job do anything and then work your way up. we would have a much smaller dole line if peoples were not fussy. When i was younger (not long ago) my old man told me to do anything as long as i was working. Shit do volunteer work if it means you have a foot in the door. with the government handouts these days there is no incentive to work.

Im not talking about him Im talking about me. Im going to study law so looking for another job back in Perth and was just wondering how it works with a taxi? settle down hey you might pop a vessle or something
Also have a mortgage and loans so need to be able to meet them. No point doing a job when you aren't making what you need. (Got rid of most the debt besides the mortgage and about to hopefully clear up the last loan).

Just a thought Gerry..... and not having a go or anything just making an observation...... When you go for interviews or are talking on the phone for potential jobs, really think about how ur speaking, slow it down and do ur best to tone down the accent, it's pretty thick and I know I have a hell of a lot of trouble understanding you in person and on the phone its near impossible. It may be effecting things coz they just cant understand you.
