Default Good place to buy a BBQ?

Where can you get BBQ's at a good price?

Bunnings seemed very cheap and nasty, and BBQ's Galore seemed very expensive.

I have a Bunnings BBQ. its just a solid plate, 4 burner on a metal trolley. Nothing special. I got it when they were practically throwing out old stock (when my gf used to work there) for $50, about 4 years ago, and its still working like a charm.

I would get one from there, if i was looking. but only coz i still have access to staff discount, but that said, they would be cheaper I recon.

You could try Home Hardware, Makkit or something like that too?

What exactly are you looking for?

Bunnings sell decent BBQ's that will turn onion, bacon, hamburgers and sausages black with the odd egg, chicken breast or ear of corn.

BBQ's Galore will sell the more outdoor kitchen type BBQ with little drawers, rotisserie, lid etc.

Bunnings 4 burner $199. Bargain.

yeh, i got a bunnings barbeque about a year and a half ago. still going strong... cant remember the brand though. I looked at Barbeques galore, and some other outdooor place down here, and could really justufy the price they were asking.

One tip though: Get one with as little, if any, stainless steel covering. That shits a bitch to keep clean!

bbq's dont need to be clean ya girl!

just make sure you get one with decent burners they all have Kilojoule per hour or min ratings, you want one that gets HOT

I have a $100 bbq that kicks arse in this regard, beats the pants of plenty of fancy over priced bbq's that dont ever get hot enough.

Just get a hooded BBQ with at least 4 burners and external.. def worth paying extra for something that lasts. I have a 6 burner Rinnai with wok burner.. just need a rotisserie and its good value
Stay away from stainless unless you like polishing all the time!
