Blackberry Questions...
Bought a blackberry bold as a xmas present,
now the person thats gonna use it (gf); 95% of the time will use it as a phone, and therefore needs minimal data - facebook/hotmail. To use this phone, does she need to be on a plan or can she be prepaid? Does she also need to pay extra for a blackberry service? Anything else I should know about? |

You can use it as a normal phone if you want - just plug in the sim & go.

will need data/gprs settings for the data usage, most providers have them on their website.

Optus have some good plans, data and calls all included, think mine is about $90 a month. I have a mate who owns a few optus shops if you need someone to connect it for you.

i think she'd prefer a pre paid card with included data or a plan with everything for under $50 a month
