Facebook Saves the Day!
I generally dont like facebook, but last night it came in handy with some detective work.
Last night we had a smallish boxing day party. One of our friends who was invited got a ride here with a friend of his (who wasnt invited). Anyways, all was cool, except as the night wore on, the uninvited guy started acting a like a dick (probably due to the bundy he was drinking) and being a bit smart. Later on (i think about 11ish) one of our friends was leaving, whose car was blocked in by the Dickheads Sticker-plastered, Giant Spotlighted, Rebadged with "Wogboy" XR8 ute. He moved his car, and then decided it was a good idea to lay down some rubber. As he goes up the street, i was telling the mate that came with the dickhead, that the dickhead better be leaving right now, when all of a sudden there was a big screech, and a bang as he lost it. The loser then bailed, with his car clicking down the road. We ran up the road, to see what he'd hit, and saw some big pine poles ripped out of the ground, and the back end of someones car smashed in, and part of his bumper on the kurb. At this point we didnt know much about the guy, and our mate was alittle bit reluctant to give out any details. But this is where facebook comes in. Earlier on, the dickhead had added another one of my friends on facebook. So we checked it out. Not only did we find his full name, but there was also a photo of the back end of his car, with a clear as day License Plate number The cops were called, we gave them his details (as well as a mobile number he had given out), they marked out the rubber and took off. Were hoping the dick was stupid enough to go straight home, so they could have spoken to him while he was full of piss. Maybe facebook isnt so bad... |

Ah, nothing like giving all your full details out over the internet.
Nice bit of sleuthing though!
