Just remember this is not costing taxpayers any money unless you actually fork out for a ride..

Correct me if I'm wrong, I heard on the radio it's going to be like $55.00 a family (2 adults, 2 kids) ???
I'd rather spend $55 @ Club X $2 peep shows.

It's great and it looks good. Similar thing to what Singapore did with their ferris wheel (although theirs is much bigger).
We need everything we can get to stimulate tourism, so it's hardly a waste of money. It's another attraction to add to the very small list. I'll definately be making the trip down too and will be more than happy to fork out the $15. Singapore's:
