Default Iphone contract?

I get an allowance of $100 per month for my work phone which is heaps as I just use it for text, calls etc I was wondering would $100 cover an Iphone monthly contract + some internet browsing, internet application usage etc. I seem to remember reading that charges could get pretty high as soon as you start doing anything other than calls & sms and that there might be some hidden costs. The story of someone downloading a TV show to their mobile while on holiday in Spain & getting stung for $80'000 springs to mind!

Go with optus I am on the $89 cap, have $550 of calls, 800MB of data which is more than enough (I watch youtube, pron, email, net and have never gone over it) and $0 handset repayments over 2 years.

There is now an Optus $79 cap with free SMS and 700MB data. $4 a month for handset over 24 months. I don't think you can get the one I am on anymore but that works out to $83 a month.

Cheers

Cool thanks. Are Optus OK. I was with them a few years ago and the coverage was wank. I go down south a fair bit.

Go with Virgin they give you 5gig of data every month and a iphone for $100 a month. Virgin is Optus they use the same network so its exactly the same in terms of service etc.

If you go down south and need coverage go Telstra, Optus suck for this!

Go Vodafone.

I am on a $99 Cap over 24 months and the best thing is, if you travel south it roams to telstra.
