Default Big Day Out

The lineups just seem to be getting worse every year for the BDO! I mean Neil Young as the headline? He's fucking 64! Prodigy should be good though, anyone going, thoughts on the lineup?

Neil Young
Arctic Monkeys
The Living End
The Prodigy
Sneaky Sound System
My Morning Jacket
Pendulum
Bullet for my Valentine
TV on the Radio
Simian Mobike Disco
The Ting Tings
Tiki Teane
Cut Copy
Cog
Young Group
The Grates
Birds of Tokyo
Tzu
Eddy Current Suppression Ring

If you don't like the line up then don't go, simple.

Prodigy (dont like their new single), Pendulum, Birds of Tokyo, Cog, and Serj Tankian would probably be the only bands/groups I would be interested in seeing, but each to their own i suppose. I have not missed a BDO in a long time but this year might be the one at this rate!

i heard that this could be the last one for a while due to the economic slowdown, the organisers are saying its too expensive for them all to come to Perth. Whether its true or not is another story.

I would love to go, but ive got another 5 weeks on crutches so cant go.

Ive looked at the time table and Prodigy were headliners int he boiler room at the same time as Neil Young. Wonder who will have a bigger crowd :P

Hmm... Seems like a let down after RATM last year. But that's my opinion, oh and yes, it was pretty 'hectic' with 55thou in Melb!

I bought a ticket months ago but sold it just recently out of disappointment with the line-up. Wats with getting has-beens?! Neil Young and even Prodigy are past their best years. None of the artists are stars that i'd talk about in 10yrs time IMHO.

Several yrs ago we were getting Muse, Foo Fighters, Fatboy Slim, Killers, Chemical Brothers & Metallica.

Would much rather spend my money on Good Vibes.
