So last night the gf and I were coming home from dinner, coming off the Hutton St fwy exit! Within seconds this black HSV, prossibly doing way in excess of 120 comes flying up my bumber, Im already in the 60 zone doing the speed limit! I swerve right, they swerve left and plow on the brakes, and just avoid becoming part of my backseat.

Then they proceed to swerve, flash their headlights and rev their engine, all while so dangerously tailgaiting me. I brake slightly in order to "look sensible in front of the gf" and they race past only to cut another car off at the lights, then fly off down Hutton street at rediculous speeds.

I dont suppose it could of been cops under the new scheme where they are apparently driving tuned street cars in an attempt to entice would be "hoons"??
More than likely just another idiot on the road who got their licence out of a serial box!!!

You'd want to hope it was the feds! While I've been told many times before by Tanglez that there is no such thing as entrapment in WA, it's still a bit of rubbish for them to break the law to enforce it. Like sending minors into bottle shops to purchase alcohol just to bust the shops for serving minors

Ive had something like that happen.

driving down west cost hwy about 1am no traffic or headlights, and turned up oceanic drive in 2nd gear and planted it. 20 seconds later what looked like a new ford turbo came racing up my tail (must have been doing an incredible speed to catch me) and sat about 2 meters away, swerving side to side, dropping back several meters and then planting it. etc etc.

I wasnt having a piece of it, after a while they gave up, stopped and did a U turn and went back the way they came...

I recon it was an undercover cop, might have been sitting at the corner waiting for someone to follow.
