Hi
I was wondering how do you stop the windows Wireless config from searching for wireless networks. and how to enable the D-link utility to do the searching?. Cheers

not sure what your reffering to but if you want to stop the windows wireless service you need to stop a service called "Wireless Zero Configuration"
Start => Run => type "services.msc" => scroll down to "Wireless Zero Configuration" service and double click on it => Select startup type to disabled => Restart computer. You will then need to configure and connect to wireless points using your dlink utility. However, i suggest vice versa and uninstall dlink utility and use the windows one. If it is configured correctly you should have no issues. |

this is happening because you have both the utilities installed and they are both trying to connect to the access point. you need to make sure its one or the other and make sure you have a strong signal from the access point.
if these both deem true then you should have no dropouts. |
