+1 here Sennheisers in ears are good nice and bassy, also got some HD595 open ear headphones and am very impressed with their products. Would never get anything else.

Shure's gear is for In Ear Monitoring.
Ever seen singers/musos playing with earphones in?

When I first started in the sound reinforcement game, we used to put speakers on stage for the performers to monitor what they wanted during the performance. Each performer had their own mix.

Now days its done with complex radio packs with IEMs. Better fidelity and quiter stages.

There is no reason you couldn't use the Shure ear buds as long as the plug size is compatible with your playback device.
