Default Beginning to notice......

That my windows XP seems to crash whenever there is a windows update needed.

It wont load shit probperly and cause errors until i restart it and then, there we go, its a windows update. What a load of crap lol. Surely they can just use the automatic updates i have enabled. Anyone else get this crapola?

Eric

What SP are you running? Have you try to disable automatic windows update?

@ Tooth DeKay
Nice choice.

There have been a few problems with Service Pack 3 and causing computers to crash. Roll back to Service Pack 2 and just do all the updates but leave out Service Pack 3. you can try go to start -> run -> cmd -> then in the dos box -> chkdsk /R

Ive repaired a computer for a friend that refused to run any applications,
removed all updates and she ran as sweet as the day it was first installed

We do realise there are open ports and such that do get closed when updates are installed hence the "security" risks that microsoft always go on about? So although its great that SP1 runs awsome, but theres 2 SP's worth of loopholes that are able to be manipulated. Least this is from my understanding.

P.S. I hate macs for their shite game adaptability.
